21 and Beyond is a skills-based Curriculum and Ethos around learning to prepare students with Additional Support Needs to flourish into adulthood.
It is designed to work top-down from an endpoint that encapsulates skills, knowledge, and personal attributes which are bespoke to each setting.
This is achieved by visualising students at the age of 21 and beyond, then planning the steps required to allow them to Survive, Thrive and Prosper.

The 5 elements of the curriculum
- English- Literacy for life, Functional Skills, GCSEs
- Maths- Numeracy for life, Functional Skills, GCSEs
- Science - scientific enquiry, conceptual knowledge of chemistry, biology and physics. The knowledge and the skills to interact with the modern world.
- Personal Development - to have the skills and attributes to solves problems and realise there potential.
- Skills for life -the skills to navigate personal and professional relationships to access the world of work.
